The Heat Safe Dog exists for one simple reason: we needed a fast, reliable way to know whether it was too hot to walk our dog. So we figured other dog owners needed it too. Colorado heat hits differently, and not every dog has a backyard to fall back on. Knowing how the heat impacts our pup helps us make smart decisions when we have to get outside.

We're here to help dog owners make safer choices in hot weather by combining real-world testing, veterinary-backed guidance, and honest, experience-based content. We want every dog to stay safe, comfortable, and hydrated all year long, from snoozy, sun-drenched pooches to backyard, zippy zoomers.
